Penstemon (Prairie Dusk) After Bloom Cut Back June 24

by admin

The bumble bees and humming birds have been busy for a few weeks. Time to cut back , hopefully for a rebloom. The tricky part is to adjust the string to make sure the stems are reasonably even within the loops. Remember when I tied, I loop the string around the stake so adjusting would be easy.
I cannot remember exactly what took place last year and if there was a second rush of blooms. Will soon find out this year!
